THE RAINFOREST CONSERVATION PROJECT

This project was born as a main focus of Mundo Verde Spanish School. We are working with the locals to collect information on fish species. Once we finish with this stage of the project we will train the villagers to incorporate this information into their way of living. Therefore they will stop cutting down the trees, contaminating the rivers with mercury and devastating the rainforest. We will also be able to place mercury free fish at the local markets knowing that this is the basis of the jungle inhabitant’s diet.

HEALTH FUND FOR THE NEEDY IN CUSCO
Through this fund we are planning to provide medical attention to the needy in the poorest areas around Cusco. Our school is working along with ICHE to accomplish this goal, since poor people in Peru barely have access to medicine. Therefore by taking a Spanish course at Mundo Verde in Cusco or any other of our locations you are allowing both our school and ICHE to pay for the medical treatment for a large group of indigenous Andeans.

THE DONATION PROGRAM
Mundo Verde Spanish School along with Ecotrek Peru and South American Explorers have come together to organize DONATION TRIPS to poor villages in Cusco and the Amazonian rainforest. The trips take place every two months. We collect warm clothing, stationary and medicine to donate the villagers. Volunteers are always welcome, and of course any donations.
